Thermopal’s new high gloss exceeds current gloss quality by far
Thermopal, the wood materials specialist, has produced a new high gloss quality for its entire design range. Thanks to the innovative technology of its new impregnation line plus intensive research into and development of the resin compositions, the premium supplier has been able to increase its degree of gloss by an additional 20 gloss points. Whether direct coated or applied to a high-pressure laminate, this new “high gloss” structure is far superior to the company’s earlier glosses.
Improving on perfection
“As an expert in high gloss melamine-coated panels, we have always carried out in-depth research and development into production processes and resin compositions,” explains marketing director Matthias Marx. And it is an investment that pays off, as is instantly evident from the current example “high gloss”: mirror-smooth high gloss melamine surfaces for furniture fronts and interior construction, direct coated or as high quality HPL or HPL composite elements.
Furthermore, this new high gloss quality can be used on any core board and on the entire design range in Thermopal’s collection, whether plain designs, wood or stone reproductions or creative designs. This is possible thanks to Thermopal’s DST system, which enables any structure to be combined with any design and any core technology in Thermopal’s range. Thermopal is changing over its entire high gloss offer, and in doing so is sending out a clear signal to the market as a premium provider.
