Rustic and yet subtle: Thermopal enriches timeless design with “Oak Pegasus”
Thermopal is introducing three variations of a new oak for the first time at the Euroshop trade fair: subtly planked with a clear grain, “Oak Pegasus” looks rustic and yet elegant at the same time. And in doing so, the wood materials manufacturer from Leutkirch in Germany’s Allgäu is adding a further facet to timeless design.

Seen from a distance, “Oak Pegasus” creates a multi dimensional look. The design is ideal for almost any application, especially shop fitting and worktops, and is best in combination with a calm, somewhat restrained environment. For instance, with almost all plain colours, especially powdery ones, smart yellows and bright reds.
However, cool metal and metallic designs also create an impressive interplay with the three balanced versions of Oak Pegasus. “Crème” (F06/178) is slightly limed, “Sand” (F06/179) has a French effect, and “Cinnamon” (F06/180) has a touch of the American about it. “Each of these variations has its own rustic charm,” states Maren Wilbrandt, head of design management. “You simply have to love the naturalness that radiates so much elegance.”
