"Matt Lacquer" by Thermopal: for more quality in direct coating
"Matt surfaces always represent a balancing act", claims Maren Wilbrandt, Décor Manager at premium manufacturer of wooden materials Thermopal. “The new classical surface texture 07 “matt laquer” emit’s like no other two quality ratings”. Despite the fact that there is currently a great demand for matt surfaces, high-quality products are still few and far between.
"There is a very fine line between superior and inferior matt surfaces", claims Wilbrandt. In developing "Matt Lacquer", Thermopal reduced the reflectance value to an absolute minimum. Especially bright plain colours which usually lose some of their radiance with a matt structure truly come into their own with "Matt Lacquer". Warm and soft, this surface has a particularly pleasant effect – "and that's how it feels, too", enthuses the Décor Manager: "The Matt Lacquer structure attributes direct coating a tangible material quality and an almost physical radiance."
