HPL composite board made of a chipboard with fine particle surface and low swelling properties, type P2+. Both sides glued with HPL type P 0.6 mm. Front edge profiled with or without drop front.
The 40 mm drop-edge version creates visual accents. This is an elegant solution to concealing cable ducts or for the attachment of radiator cladding.

Field of application

  • Interior windowsills in offices and administration buildings, in conference and sales rooms as well as labs, schools and care institutions. Suitable for new built and refurbishment.

Cleaning and care

  • The surface can be cleaned with water and gentle cleaning agents. To remove stubborn stains, please observe the recommendations in the data sheet "Cleaning of HPL surfaces".

Product safety

  • The surface is physiologically safe, and approved for direct contact with food.
  • The material is not rated as hazardous material.
  • This product is following the REACH regulation EG 1907/2006 an article. Following Article 7 it needs not to be registered.

Sustainability

  • Thermopal wood chipboard is a environmentally friendly wood material. We use approx. 65% wood offcuts from industry, obtained in the processing of round timber, plus industrial wood from forests in the region.
  • We are supporting sustainable forestry in line with international standards. Ecological, economical and social criteria are all taken equally into account.
  • We support the preservation of wood as a natural resource in the sense of a recycling economy by using approx. 35% of our source material from scrap wood of category A I and A II in accordance with the regulations of the scrap wood ordnance. By recycling these materials, we are also making an important contribution towards binding carbon and reducing hazardous carbon dioxide concentrations in the atmosphere.

  • Available designs on request.
  • Slight colour differences to HPL without overlay and to melamine faced boards are possible on wood and stone reproductions, as well as on fantasy designs.

Processing

  • Can be worked with carbide tipped tools on conventional woodworking machines.

Edging

  • Please moisture-seal the edges.

Installation and assembly

  • Please remove the transportation packaging.
  • Sufficient conditioning is required prior to installation. The premises themselves need to be air-conditioned according to future use.
  • Please ensure that the material is processed and fitted correctly and using the best available technology.

Storage and handling

  • On all level surfaces (e.g. pallets), in dry, vented rooms.

Disposal

  • We recommend material recycling or energy recovery.
