Sustainability
- Thermopal wood chipboard is a environmentally friendly wood material. We use approx. 65% wood offcuts from industry, obtained in the processing of round timber, plus industrial wood from forests in the region.
- We are supporting sustainable forestry in line with international standards. Ecological, economical and social criteria are all taken equally into account.
- We support the preservation of wood as a natural resource in the sense of a recycling economy by using approx. 35% of our source material from scrap wood of category A I and A II in accordance with the regulations of the scrap wood ordnance. By recycling these materials, we are also making an important contribution towards binding carbon and reducing hazardous carbon dioxide concentrations in the atmosphere.
Special
- Slight colour differences to HPL without overlay and to melamine faced boards are possible on wood and stone reproductions, as well as on fantasy designs.
- It is recommended to order overlay for horizontal, heavy used surfaces in combination with metallic designs. Slight visual difference to the surface is possible without the overlay.
