Furniture-Linoleum composite element faced on one side with 2 mm Furniture-Linoleum, reverse side with 0.8 mm HPL.

Field of application

  • Desk tops, tables and shelving units, cabinet fronts, shelves, inside doors, partition walls, wall panelling.
    The use of Furniture Linoleum as kitchen worktops, dining tables, counters and desks or similar is only possible in a limited way because of the mechanical and thermical use.

  • Wood chipboard with fine particle surface type P2 according to EN 312.

Cleaning and care

  • Any type of stains must be removed immediately. Slight soiling shall be removed with a moist cloth and a neutral/intensive cleaner. Always use only soft cleaning cloths even on stubborn dirt. The surface must be cleaned with a clean cleaning cloth afterwards. Do not use solvents or harsh cleaning agents!
  • After laying: Remove fingerprints and spots of unhardened glue immediately with a damp cloth. Hardened spots of glue can be removed with turpentine substitute.

Product safety

  • This product is following the REACH regulation EG 1907/2006 an article. Following Article 7 it needs not to be registered.

Sustainability

  • Thermopal wood chipboard is a environmentally friendly wood material. We use approx. 65% wood offcuts from industry, obtained in the processing of round timber, plus industrial wood from forests in the region.
  • We are supporting sustainable forestry in line with international standards. Ecological, economical and social criteria are all taken equally into account.
  • We support the preservation of wood as a natural resource in the sense of a recycling economy by using approx. 35% of our source material from scrap wood of category A I and A II in accordance with the regulations of the scrap wood ordnance. By recycling these materials, we are also making an important contribution towards binding carbon and reducing hazardous carbon dioxide concentrations in the atmosphere.

Special

  • Furniture-Linoleum ist made from the renewable materials: flax oil, resin, wood dust and pigments.
  • Matching ABS edging for the Furniture-Linoleum surface in design L1200 is available.
  • Finish protected with a PU acrylate layer.
  • Material from different colour charges can have different colouring since it is natural material. Especially light designs can have so called dry chamber film. However, this film will disappear when disposed to light.

Processing

  • Processing with protective foil is recommended. Dirt inclusions as well as heavy or sharp objects can leave pressure marks on the surface.
  • Sufficient conditioning is required prior to installation and assembly. The premises themselves need to be air-conditioned according to future use.

Edging

  • The use of thick edges is recommended.
  • Matching ABS edging for the Furniture-Linoleum surface in design L1200 is available.

Fitting technology

  • All conventional removable and non-removable fittings for solid wood and wood materials are suitable.

Storage and handling

  • On all level surfaces (e.g. pallets), in dry, vented rooms.

Disposal

  • We recommend material recycling or energy recovery.
