Product safety

  • The surface is physiologically safe, and approved for direct contact with food.
  • The decorative coating consists of printed or dyed décor papers. They are saturated in the duroplast melamine-formaldehyde resin, which then hardens during the laminating process to form a highly resistant, non-reactive material.
  • The material is not rated as hazardous material.

Special

  • Slight colour differences to HPL without overlay and to melamine faced boards are possible on wood and stone reproductions, as well as on fantasy designs.
  • If printed designs are required for horizontal applications it is recommended that an overlay is ordered. The colour may differ slightly from HPL without overlay and melamine faced board.
  • The flame-retardant properties are produced by halogeneous free flame-retardant additives.
  • All stated technical values apply only in moderate climate zones (temperature, humidity, incident light radiation).

Span-UB type P2 fire-retardant

Can be worked with carbide tipped tools on conventional woodworking machines.
The fire-retardant additives and colourants contained in the support can create deposits on tools and therefore reduce their durability.
The adhesion of glues can be reduced in exceptional cases.

Edging

  • Thick and thin edges are suitable.
  • EVA and PUR hotmelts are recommended for edge adhesion.

Fitting technology

  • All conventional removable and non-removable fittings for solid wood and wood materials are suitable.

Installation and assembly

  • Sufficient conditioning is required prior to installation and assembly. The premises themselves need to be air-conditioned according to future use.
  • Please ensure that the material is processed and fitted correctly and using the best available technology.

Storage

  • On all level surfaces (e.g. pallets), in dry, vented rooms.
  • Protect from moisture and wet conditions.

Disposal

  • Energy recovery is recommended.
